hi guys, Looking at a car in Europe, and the seller has a Ferrari stamped maintenance book for 20k, 40k, and 60k service intervals. Does anyone have any idea what each maintenance interval means in terms of the work performed? There is a language barrier with the seller... Thanks!
Initial Factory recommendation was 15,000 miles major service. That said aside from seeing recoepts showing work for all you know it was an oil change and inspection. Any detail from them on the work at those intervrals? Sent using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The service intervals for the car you're interested in are in kilometers. The 60,000 kilometer service includes timing belts. You can download a copy of the Euro F355 Owner's Manual to see in detail what's done at each service. A Ferrari dealership would strictly adhere to the schedule and stamp the appropriate area in the service book.
Thank you very much! Yes, I'm in Canada, I should have specified KM. No other documentation provided. Will try to get more info using google translate. Good call on the service manual! I did find this: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/467125/Ferrari-F355.html?page=213#manual
Yes. Download the manual. Detailed service procedures based on mileage and time are in the last section.
