I'm preparing an article about the FIA European Mountain (or Hillclimb) Championship. The information I've found so far is pretty scattered. Are there any books out there that cover this Championship in some detail? I'm particularly looking for information about rules and regulations. I've found some info on the FIA website, but only about the technical rules for the cars. TIA

    Best, Peter

What period/year(s) are you covering? The history or recent?
There are quite a few Italian books on the history of the various climbs. I have one on Trieste-Opicina, and another on Trento-Bondone for example.

    Hi Nathan,

I forgot about this thread, but haven't forgotten about the European Mountain Championship!
I'm doing research for an article about the 1965-1969 seasons. I now only miss information about the results of the 1967 season. I'm specifically looking for:
    - who came in third place in the final overall standings (first was Mitter, second Stommelen),
    - where did Scarfiotti end up in the final overall standings,
    - how many points did each of them have that counted towards the overall standings
    - was the points system 9,6,4,3,2,1 or 8,6,4,3,2,1

If anyone has this inforamtion or know a source (preferably online), I'd be happy to hear.

    Thanks!

    Best, Peter
