I have recently bought my 88 Testarossa back home to Australia from the UK.

As Australia is a totally metric country, I'm finding it difficult adjusting to the MPH / KM speedometer and the imperial gauges that read in lbs / inches etc. Aussie delivered cars were all UK spec but fitted with Euro metric gauges it seems.

Do any of our European forum members have any access to or knowledge of any 84 - 91 Testarossa's that have been wrecked, where I may be able to source any European spec gauges?

There may also be European imported LHD cars in the USA that have metric gauges. If so, I'm more than willing to do a swap with one of the US forum members here.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Hi Rob,
Are you talking about the gauges in KM/H,without M/H, and oil pressure in kg/cm²?
Your TR has his milage totaller in the gauge, normally,an US version does...
I have a set for sale, with Euro spec. counters in KM/H,and totaller in middle console.
    Mail me if interested.

    Morning Speedman,

I dropped an email to you with pics of the speedo and odometer.

I would have though that there would be some demand for these guages in Imperial and MPH as there must be a few European imports in America that would prefer to run with USA/UK guages?

    Hi Speedman,

We seem to be having real issues with emails. I wrote back to yours just to say that I'm interested as what you have is what I need.

Try a different address for me if you like.

    Thanks mate.

www.paspeedo.com will re-silkscreen the face plates of all your gauges to KPH, Bar and centigrade for a few hundred bucks US.

That probably works fine for the speedo which is calibrated to both anyway, but the odometer is mechanical so would have to be redone to suit km/ph.
