    Hi there, I have my evaporator out for testing/cleaning and wanted to ask what folks use to replace the 'glue' that seals the casing together? I'm tempted to use black RTV but it seems overkill. Thanks for any thoughts!

    Black RTV... not overkill.

    The reason you do that is water is going to condense in there and if it's not sealed you're going to have a leaky box right by your fuse panel... BAD combo.

    RTV is not overkill. As I recall its what was used by the manufacturer.
