evening with David Hobbs & Steve Matchett in Orlando

Sat evening Oct 30 the Florida Citrus Region of the PCA held their annual dinner with David Hobbs and Steve Matchett as guest speakers. I don't own a Porsche but coughed up the cost of dinner to spend the evening with 120 or so Porschephiles to hear Hobbs & Matchett. It was an evening well spent. After dinner David began their two man show with opening remarks etc. that include a joke to warm up the crowd. What's the difference between a hedgehog and a Porsche? With the hedgehog the prick is on the outside! Most of their stories and opinions were about F1 with a lot of focus on Matchett's relationship with Shumacher at Jordan and Michael's involvement in Ferrari's current success. It was a very interesting and hilarious evening.

 

David Hobbs is a very very funny fellow! Between the two of them they have very intriguing insight into the many issues in F1.
