I know the 19th is Father's Day but this is supposed to be really cool. My attorney friend has a client that is doing this big promotional gig for his studio and he told my buddy to rally some exotic cars together. I am being told that the photo studio is spectacular itself and that these guys really know how to put an event together. It's in NYC, right outside the tunnel (easy on the car), and he told me if I know anyone else that would like to attend, feel free to send it along. He is very confident it really will be a good event. Just register at the web site and they will contact you with the info for the 19th. http://www.nextgearproductions.com/join.php Here's some more info I copied from the .pdf (it was too large to attach) NEXT GEAR PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS WHEN & WHERE Splashlight Studios 529-535 West 35th St. (Between 10th & 11th Aves) New York, NY 10001 Sunday, June 19, 2005 11am 5pm RSVP [email protected] or call: 917 414-1448 For further information visit www.nextgearproductions.com Youre invited to throw off the dust-sheets and take your classic sports car for a spin to the 1st Annual Le Mans on 35th Street. Thanks! This sounds like fun! I've signed up. Is this the 1st time they are running this? Anyone else interested?
Todd; I gave up my space today due to too many things going on with Father's Day. I did not want to be a no show.
Grrrrr why Father's Day? This sounds great if not for the holiday! Im already sleeping in the garage these days.
If it's convenient for any of you...there are a few people meeting at my house at about 9:30-10AM so we can drive over together...I live in E. Hanover/Florham Park...just outside of Morristown...the drive over together is the best part...you are more than welcome to meet here...shoot me an email at [email protected] Cheers! Todd
I'm in.. if you guys are going to be taking the GWB you will be passing fort lee, want to make a quick detour stop at my place?
I'm already signed up, but haven't heard a word from them. If the 308 is back (maybe today, maybe tomorrow), I'll give a call & we can head over.
I may swing by this event if I can swindle the family to go to "SOHO" for some shopping. Me : Oh...look at that, a car show! Can we stop there just for a minute honey? 2 hours later... Wife: "Can we go to Soho now or what"?
I think you have the wife quote a little off. More like "Give me the credit card. The kids & I will be at Lord & Taylor, Gucci & Toys 'R Us or FAO when you want to buy us dinner. Taxi!"
T-man, lost your number had to clean out my PM box, i need to start keeping databases like you ! I met patrick today at the ROTB he said he is probably going to shorten the event to 2pm instead of 5 for father's day, which makes it a lot more inviting for me PM me your number or hit me up !
