Hi all, I'm curious as to what sources you guys use to see what nice events (not just F-cars) there are in the Quebec area ... I always miss them!! Only events I've heard of and plan attend this year are the F1 Grand Prix (obviously) and the start of the Player's Run in NY (gotta check it out, only 400miles away). Other than that, there are a couple thingies at the tremblant track (www.lecircuit.com) like the Ferrari days (was *cough* lame *cough* last year) or such ... Perhaps we could use this thread as an "event thread" so as not to miss any Thx
Yeah there's the F1 Grand Prix in Montreal , the Ferrari Festival in Mont-Tremblant (this year the 360 Challenge race is on the program), you have the Italian week in Ottawa "Ferrari parade" (5th of June I think, but I don't know if this year there's really a parade). Another thing....there's the "Ferrari Challenge Rally of the Laurentians"... The Rally is limited to 70 Ferrari....you start at Mont-Tremblant and your destination is Quebec city. (All that : from June the 27 to the 30) Its more for the Ferrari owners you see but you could always have fun following them. Julien check your PM.
You probably already know about the "Gala d'Elegance" at Park Montmorency in Beauport, Qc, just east of Quebec City on Aug 28-29. It's sponsored by the club, Belles Autos d'Hier (Beautiful Autos of Yesterday Club). It's just all sorts of pre-79 cars. My '69 365 GT 2+2 may be the only Ferrari there. There were none last year. The club also runs a one-day Fall Color Tour of old cars for about 175 km down in the direction of the Eastern Townships from Quebec at the end of September. I didn't know there were even any Ferrari enthusiasts in the Quebec City area. I've never even seen a Ferrari here.
Is this your 365 GT 2+2? It was parked in front of FoQ? Very nice Ferrari! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry, No! Mine's not red. I assume FoQ is in Montreal. I'm in Lévis, across the river from Québec City. I've attached a photo of mine. Image Unavailable, Please Login
