Bullfrog, I went skydiving at an outfit in Granbury, Texas called "Eagle Flight Shydiving." They are about 35 minutes from Ft. Worth. I live in New Orleans, but my cousin's wedding was in Ft. Worth.

i've done a lot worse... If i can't risk my life, what CAN i risk...? There's something about coming so close to death that makes me feel so alive.

Why don't blind men skydive? Scares the hell out of the dog. The yelp of a german shepard at 10,000 feet, sounds like... victory.
A friend of mine and I signed up for skydiving class. The classes were at night and lasted a week. We learned all about PLF's (parachute landing falls) and other related life saving tidbits. Then they took us out in a small plane with all the seats removed (except the pilot seat), so they could cram more people inside. This was not a tandum jump, you were on your own once you left the plane. It was scary, exciting and a lot of fun. Oh, I forgot, we also learned and had to pack our own chute. So, if the chute did not open....... there was no one to blame.
Checked out their site. The staff photos are too small to recognize people for sure, but it's not the group I was thinking of, although this group has a Doc too! Thanks for the link.
