I've had an entire week of this.

Sunday - iPod 60gB Photo had the harddrive fry. Now I have to wait for a new iPod Classic ship from China.
Monday - Breitling Chrono Superocean began to run slow and stopped.
Thursday - Shattered a wooden baseball bat at the batting cages. Had to replace it with a new maple bat.
Friday/Today - Motorola RAZR completely goes out. Replaced it with a Blackberry Pearl today.
Friday/Today - At the AT&T store I notice my Breitling was off by nearly 11 hours and a day behind. I wind the watch, and I spin it to hear if I can hear it wind but to no avail. So now I have to wait 4-6 weeks to have it repaired by Breitling in Connecticut.

To top it off, the iPod is suppose to arrive no later than 1 day before I am suppose to fly out to AZ and to southern California for a few weeks. AND, AAAANNND, I have a very nice wedding to go to tomorrow night and was hoping to wear my Breitling. Now I have to go watchless for the wedding and for over a month.

But what REAAAALLY tops it off, my passport is suppose to arrive in a couple weeks, yet it still doesn't show any status (let alone in their system) online.

Sometimes, **** happens. God this is frustrating.

Please tell me it happens to other people out there.

As far as I'm concerned the week isn't over. I still have to make it to Lake Tahoe and back!

I owned 3 cars that were in collisions within 7 days, all 3 were German makes. I thought I hit the trifecta but the Car Gods thought otherwise. During that week there was about $10,000 damage done to a cottage property that wasn't covered by insurance.

I also gouged the wheel and tire of a 3 months old car, $1,000 was the repair bill. Not a good week.

    But now, things are great!

I got dizzy at work & found out I had blood were I shouldn't, it scared the hell out me. I called my doctor & expecting to go to the ER, but so far I feel fine. I was ordered to call it a day from work I'll be going in to a examination & tests next week. I just hope it's not what I think it is.

I was in the crawl space under my rental house today, replacing the valve in the water line to the ice maker. A right-angle fitting in the water line snapped in half right in my hand, giving me a couple of extra hours to share with the spiders down there. I hope nothing else breaks today!

I can't match these stories (thank goodness).
I did have one morning, many years ago, when I was leaving for work. The Porsche factory alarm would not shut off, so of course the car would not start (it did a fine job of serenading the neighbors at 7 am, though). Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery did not help. So I got out the 308. Just over a mile down the road, it died (the only time it ever died on me in 100K+ miles). Off to the rental car agency. The 308 turned out to be the famous fuse panels.
Even at the time, it was more amusing than anything else. More so to my buddies than to me, of course. :)
