One of the front marker lights is out on my car.

You have to be a contortionist to get to the back of it. I've tried reaching down under the headlight motor to get to it and just can't get there.

Anyone know how to get this baby out?

    Thanks in advance

Remove the front grill and try and squeeze your arm past the blower motor, I think.

My bulb was okay but the connector had come undone. I tried from top and bottom and I think I made it from the top in the end. But all i had to do was push connector on.

    DITTO!
After grille is removed socket is readily accessable to service or replace bulb.
If you need to replace fixture(lens and body), two nuts will need to be removed(in the same local area) to remove wrap-around bumper. This fixture is a turn signal repeater (to your clear signal lens up front).

Just curious, is your car s/n 46009? I notice the color (marrone) is the same as that on a car sold by Forza in CT last year. I had a test drive of 46009 and it was lovely.

I have some photos of the car if you're interested (PM me). I was very keen on the car and went to see it on a Saturday, but it sold on eBay the next day - I was unaware that it was even on eBay!

I hope you are enjoying it!

You betcha, Aidan, I am enjoying it! Haven't put many miles on it though(working on getting it to the 1K miles/yr level)--Feb '06' mileage @25943, 26278 presently.......
I figuring that Dave will see this to make entry in his registry.
PM me? I'm new at this chat-room stuff/don't have half the abbreviations
down yet but working on it.
Are personals okay on this forum or are we to use e-mail---not sure of all
    the rules...
What pics do you have? Peter sent me all that he had, & I have taken a few
since. What are the particulars w/your Series I/400i, were you thinking of getting the Series II when you looked at mine @ FORZA/just keeping abreast of the market/trade in/?? There was a little excitement w/ebay experience,
did Peter tell you anything about it?
Just got back from central Fla. Ferrari dealer @ LEATHERIQUE Inc. debacle,
STILL waiting for the return call from George---Will problably post my 1st
thread in 'discussions' if resolution doesn't occur to WARN fellow F-chatters
& F-club owners of my unfortunate experience!!

Can you give us any info on what went wrong with Leatherique? At least was it service by the company or a problem with the product? MANY of us use the product, so if there is an issue I am sure we would all be VERY eager to know...

I'm with Al on this. Seriously considering taking much of the leather out of my 400iA (front seats, rear seats, door panels, rear panels, rear package tray, etc.) and dying them in the original tan.

I've got Peter's pictures plus a few that I took myself. I was going to get a PPI on the car had it not sold on eBay, and take it from there. I do however prefer the Series I interior and am very happy with my 1980 400iA, which is black with black leather. I actually bought some Leatherique products (including the steering wheel kit) in the Fall, but have yet to even take a look at them. I understand it is best to apply them in warm weather.

    Cheers

    Dave,
On my 400 I had to remove the front wheel. In the fender, behind the lamp is a small cover. Remove it for access.

I'll be, theres how you do it.

Sure enough there are 4 screws that are really tough to see when the wheel is on.

    Thanks a lot.
