Thank you my Brother. These are very exciting times. It's going to be a fun summer having a spider and a B. Planning on going to the track with the hard top and many trips to the beach with the hard top off this summer. I could not get my rag top down all last summer.

Well I hope you are lucky enough to spend most of the time with the top down enjoying the spider as you should.
Good idea about the hard top for the track!
What have you used to seal the back of the hard top against the body work?

A very durable weather stripping. You can barely see it on the base of the top. I will be posting more detailed pictures shortly.

Cant make an opinion just yet, i need to see better clearer pictures from various profiles.
The rear/side window line has me a little concerned so far, and i cant see the roof or line properly. My eye is drawn to that section quicker than a stinger missile :)
But i still cant get the pictures of the un-removed, but masked out lights during the re-paint out of my head. Maybe that is clouding my potential judgment.
Better pictures may swing me :)

I'm building the interior out of carbon fiber with a structural membrane. This picture is obviously incomplete but I want to show you how it looks.
Originally I had leathered my interior of my top. It looked pretty good but now that they are to be produced we're making molds to produce a perfect custom carbon fiber interior.

If you look to the front of the top that is a original latch box that we are molding so the roof will be totally independant of the existing spidertop. You will not have to remove your existing latching mechanism.

This first mold will be Tim's top. He will have the first cabon fiber part, his car is red so it will be interesting for us to see the perfection in the line. You will see the raw carbon part on my car. I fit it on yesterday.

As you all know I run in the 360 circle but have always had a VERY soft spot for the 355 and stand by my belief that the 355 is the most beautiful Ferrari ever made.
Due to my love of the 355 I have followed this build with interest and now that the long journey is complete I must say I am staggered at just how well it turned out.
It was always apparent from the start that only the best was going to be good enough for you (as it should be, after all this isnt a Toyota is it) and my word have you delivered !

You should be applauded for your efforts, you haven't canabalised the car with your desire to MAKE it work, you've stayed true to the lines and the form of the car which to my mind make this project even more successful.
Anyone can stick a bodykit on (christ knows many do and my blood runs cold each and everytime I see it) or modify a part already available in an effort to come up with a solution thats "good enough".
You have tackled a task that has and would scare the crap out of 99% of the population and although its been a freaking long journey you now have something to be proud of.

Enjoy your creation and all of the well earned plaudits that should and will come your way.
    Thanks for sharing.

Here is Tims Top. It has just been painted and will be the first complete carbon fiber part. I will be posting the interior latches as they will be pretty as opposed to the prototype as mine is.
