Thanks for the kind comments, I hadn't intended to do this video but when I looked round at the cars gathered in the square in Bologna that day, I mentioned to my video guy we could do a timeline through Lamborghini's history and this video is the result.

I'm afraid it was all done without any notes and as there was next to no time to fact check, I'm sure I got one or two things wrong. I'm also annoyed with myself for not including the LM002 and Islero in the history but even so, I found it fascinating walking through the history of Lamborghini like we did, even if it took rather longer than expected.

To make matters even trickier, right at the end there was a army helicopter display doing it stuff and I ended up having to grab 'takes' when it wasn't being too noisy! Flipping nightmare..

Pretty impressive and mentions Low Body and High Body differences on Countach.

 

Great video, but one thing came to my mind when I first saw the engineers in the factory mounting the engine/tranny into the prototype countach chassis:
It's the standard espada/jarama 4l engine/gearbox assembly just turned by 180 degrees, not the Miura engine like mentioned.

Thanks for honoring Eric's Tahiti LP500s engine bay which was done by my mechanic, he did an amazing job and the car runs really strong.

One important change on the diablos, with the 6l engine came also a widened front track by 10cm which made the car extremely less understeer, I drove once SE#3 (the one you showed is #1), it was a blast to drive.
