The 430 was a disappointment on the track even with the ceramic brakes. Aside from sheer horsepower, it offered little improvement over the 360. Friends had the first 430's on the track in Asia at the same time they had 360CS's on the track and the 430 did not live up to it's potential. I just sold my 430 Challenge which was a quantum leap over the 360 Challenge. I will also try a 430CS if it is produced. You talk about extra heft of the front engine of the 599. How is that when the weight balance is optimal with the trans-axle?

And you think Lambos are? I see multiple Gallardos for every 430 I see here in the states. I see way more Murcielagos then 575s and 550s combined and they have been around for over a decade.

Then indeed, the 599 is not meant for you. It is all a matter of taste. I like Ferrari's to be understated in exterior design, yet beautifully proportioned, but of course, tastes differ. Thankfully, that is ok and I believe there are cars ready to be bought that do answer to your tastes. Everybody happy.

So they say that the 722 lacks the subtleties of the 599 :)

Anyone have a scan of the evo article? The issue has yet to show up in my local stores.
