The new Lotus Evora will be at Star Motor Cars on Saturday from 12 to 2pm. Anyone else plan on going?
got there right before the cars left for Austin. One red, one black. Sorry no pictures. These were cars that will be used for registration (whatever that means). Pricing for the US will not be set before around October. Quality of these model was poor but see previous comment. Car is beautiful in flex, seats looks very confortable, and it is easy to get in and out. Only disappointment, the exhaust noise is none existent.
I saw them in Austin. The car looks descent. As mentioned, it was easier to get in and out of when compared to the Elise / Exige and obviously more roomy. I went through the gears and the shifter felt direct and crisp--not quite as sloppy as I anticipated. The side profile of the car is kinda cool, but the car is missing something....not quite sure what it is. While I look forward to seeing them on the road, it doesn't scream "I have to have it". I heard the MSRP is going to be around $75k.
