I wonder what this will go for? A few cars offered lately have barely made the $325K offer. (Private market, not auctions.) BaT generally has outliers, but I am curious how the current economic environment will treat this car. Any guess?
I don't want to violate any rules...I think this is only a positive comment for the seller. So in the spirit of the rules I think I'm ok... I don't know how these aren't 1 million dollars. It makes no sense that these aren't 7 figure cars or there about...
Most of the 7 figure Ferraris only only get driven on golf courses when they get to leave their hibernation garage spot.
I don't see how Rod being one of the used owners makes any difference to the price. If he ordered it, maybe. Then you could say he was involved in the selections. But using it when used? Interesting but...Meh. If I'm looking for a Barchetta I'm looking for a Barchetta. I'm not buying a piece of Rock and Roll memorabilia.
agree -numbered limited production -V12 -manual -open top -beautiful -old school -many have unique provenance (celeb owner, from big collections, etc) seems to tick all the boxes of Ferrari collectibility.
I love these. Probably my favorite modern Ferrari after the 288 GTO. When I sold my 246 GTS years ago I could have traded it plus $20k for one of these. Wish I had done it. Good luck to the seller and lucky new owner.
I sold my yellow chairs and flares Dino few years back and bought a yellow Barchetta. I got twice the number of cylinders and the Ferrari badge. Eventhough my old Dino is worth more than the Barchetta these days, I never looked back as I have enjoyed every mile in my Barchetta. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
They look so much cleaner w/o the hoops. I'd be tempted to roll the dice... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The only celebrity I might pay up for is Steve McQueen, and that's because he had some cool cars and motorcycles.
Glad to see that price, but I am surprised to see that the Seller had a higher reserve. That is a decent price in the current market.
