ex Roman Polanski 275 GTB/4

I just noticed that the ex Roman Polanski/Sharon Tate 275 GTB #09729 was sold by a dealer in Geneva, apparently about 18 months ago. Does anyone know the selling price and/or who bought it? Would be interesting to know how these cars fare in private sales as opposed to auctions, and also how the provenance of this particular car influenced the price.

 

Back in January 2014, Simon Kidston was asking €2.5 million. Because it hadn't really been used much during Frédéric Dor's 25-year ownership, Kidston had it serviced and Classiche'd, etc.

I remember seeing the car at the 1988 Barrett -Jackson auction where it was sold to a friend of mine for the ungodly sum of circa-$300,000 (which I believe at the time was a World Record price for a 4Cam).
