I'm old enough to have very clear memories of Schecter's racing career -- both on and off the track. He pretty much tells you what he's really thinking as opposed to playing games. I am not a fan of Hamilton, but I think Jody's got this about right. I hope Felipe wins the race and Hamilton gets stuck in a gravel trap without being injured.

The articial is pretty spot on, too bad Hambone makes it worst on himself, by not controling his mouth off track.

Jody is entitled to his opinion as are we; the fact that the other drivers don't trust/respect LH is telling; however, life goes on...

Correct life does go on and Micheal Schumacher became 7 times world champ. After all thats what used to be said of him early in his career when he used to deliberately try and sometimes succeed in taking out the opposition with his car to gain an advantage, or chop people up and run rivals of the track. yep life goes on and memories get shorter and shorter:)

He's got it pretty much right. I think when all is said and done, we walk away feeling this season was a sham. I've had a difficult time getting excited for the season after the debacle at Spa. That race transformed the FIA into the WWF (or WWE or whatever it is now).

It's not just Hamilton. They tried to jerk Alonso out of the 06 title too. The FIA has a history of title meddling, this is nothing new.

He's right, but it is pretty obvious. It's not really news, he just said what everyone knows. It's too bad the massively exciting last lap of the last race was in fact an artificial creation of the FIA. Without the FIA's interference Hamilton would have started today's race as world champion.

I guarantee it makes for a hell of a sweet victory party in the McLaren camp tonight though!

I imagine it's frustrating for a driver from Jody's era to see rules and regs play such a prominent role in the outcome of the races. It seems like we always hear from the same few veterans--Stewart, Lauda, Irvine, Jody. I'd like some others to chime in more regularly, like Reutemann, Mansell, Andretti, Lafitte, Watson.
