    Does anyone know if the exhaust valve on the Quattroporte Sport GT can be kept open? It's sounds nice on a cold startup, which is when I believe the vavle is open.

    I don't think there is a valve at all.....they just took out the mid-resonators and put in a straight-through x-pipe. Any QP sounds even nicer when cold....when the system is warm it settles down a bit. Look in post #19, #20 & #21 of this link http://www.************.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1229

    I believe I hear a valve closing soon after startup upon a sound change; about one minute after. RPMs sound as if they do not change, so I think that there is a valve.
