I have looked over the forum and on the net with no clear answer. The 360 manual calls for 75 nm tension on the exhaust flange spring bolts which must be a mistake, the flanges bend under that stress. Can someone please advise how to properly install and tension those spring bolts at the flange joining header and cat.

Those long M8 bolts with a spring at one end? 25Nm is all you will be able to get on there. I have always been of the camp "tight enough is enough" on exhaust bolts because it is hard to get a torque wrench in there. I think I always ended up somewhere 15-20 Nm.

Thank you for the reply. I’m currently at 22 nm. Should I slack off a bit to 18 nm?

Leave it be at 22. Good enough.
