I'm pondering buying a Gunson gas analyzer and thought I would ask here first, if somebody in the general, mid-Florida area has one and would either lend it for a weekend or sell it to me. The Gunson model only measures CO. The fancy 4 or 5 gas testers are between $2K and $3K. The Gunson is around $230+/-. Thanks in advance!

I don't know of any shops that use them. Maybe a few around stuck in a cabinet. If check with some of the performance shops first. Never needed one here, not having to deal with emissions testing.

I plan to use the tester to help with adjustments on Brit cars with S.U. carbs. Fine-tuning the air-fuel ratio seems to help with idle issues. Too bad it's not a free loaner-tool from AutoZone!

Between the EGA and one of these it should tune up nicely. :)

I have a wide-band o2 sensor that I use for tuning engines. Give me a call if you want to give it a try.
