    The heat shield on my 348 is looking a bit tired. Has anyone tried to repaint them with some of the silver high temp paints. Any other ideas? Thanks

    I used Hi-Heat Coating 2000 F by Cool It Thermo Tec. Works great. Will make your heat shield look like brand new.

    Did the same. Worked out great. 99% of my time was spent cleaning before applying the paint. Need to clean carefully and thoroughly.

    Actually I would like to try doing mine with the silver stuff - gold is just a little over the top for me...

    I did mine in the silver foil stuff and it looks good and it was cheap!
