    You see many old lambos/masers fez all with the angled chrome tip exhuast with the little red shield on the side. I understand that many of these things are the 'done thing' with the cars like agip oil is... but is there any practical difference? the whole culture and attitude thing got me thinking as there is so much of that with these kinds of cars .

    Ansa was the OEM exhaust manufacturer for most Italian marques, including Ferrari, for decades. Early Ansa tailpipes had little red shield stickers on them; up until the 70s the inside of the tailpipes were also painted orange.
