    Will post up some decent sound files links later today as we recorded a fair few last weekend...also link to the Farboud GTS which we were fortunate enough to go and see adn experience l;ast Saturday....

    I have read much about the Farboud and i'm sure its a fab car. One thing totally puzzles me. I realise the guy behind it is called Farboud but there is no way i'd buy a car however good with a name like that. If I built a car I would'nt call it 'George'. Of course, if you have a cool sounding name then fine, but I think that car wont sell on the name to some people, however good it is.

    Fair point, but wasn't the founder of TVR called Trevor??:D

    If i like a car i dont care waht its called...... this was a little rough around the edges but my god was it quick...and only running 450bhp...it did not just out accelerate everything - it clean disappeared..... when it is in production it will be 620 bhp weighing just over 1100kg..... giving the McLaren F1 a run for its money as it did at BRuntingthorpe under testing.....

    I prefer normal aspiration but if you like turbos and for TVR money you get supercar performance in a palettable shape with excellent handling - I was impressed to be honest...... but not enough to sell the 355 ....

    Ha Ha I take your point. But thats why he didnt call his car a 'Trevor'. Farboud should call his car an FRB or something!

    Trevor Wilkinson to be exact.

    You may already know this but apparently the front indicator lens styling, first seen on the Chimeara I believe, was influenced by the designer's dog.

    Apparently they had a mock up of the car made up in clay and his dog bit a chunk out of the front corner. He liked the look of it so much that he tidied up the edges a bit and stuck with it!
