My F8 Spider is status 60 as of last week and I suspect I'll be taking delivery in the next 8 weeks or so. With that being said, once the car has settled I plan on adjusting the stock coilovers. A user here, Enzo Blair, has in my opinion a perfect setup and if I can adjust the stock springs and add spacers as necessary I'll achieve the aesthetics I'm looking for.

The exhaust on the other hand seems to be a point of contention for many. I do not want to void at any cost. With that said, if I do the Novitec flapless exhaust "POWER OPTIMIZED EXHAUST SYSTEM WITHOUT FLAP-REGULATION, COMPLETE HEAT PROTECTED Article No. F1 444 40 / 70 / 75" will I trigger a CEL and or risk having the warranty being compromised?

Is there any exhaust system on the market that will work without triggering a CEL and compromising the warranty?

There are "extenders"which may prevent CEL lights ...

But be aware of getting angry neighbours if the "sound" is too loud for them ...

I would ask Novitech about the CEL issue and Ferrari about the warranty issues.

I believe any aftermarket exhaust will “potentially “ void the warranty. It is hard to get straight answer from Ferrari. But in my experience - if you did not buy it from Ferrari, you run the risk of a voided warranty if something goes wrong. I did the Capristo valve controller on my F8 but only because my Ferrari dealer installed it. Too much money to risk having an issue - IMO. Great car - not sure there is good way to fix the sound. I did lower mine on factory springs and had no issues (other than a few scrapes :))

The Novitec exhaust will remove the GPFs and will also require a Novitec Techtronic OBD port plug in to erase the codes and keep the CEL off. Best to talk with your dealership about exhaust mods, some will play some will not. As far as I know, FNA has never approved an aftermarket exhaust for the F8.

Thank you for everyone for your assistance. I'll add 4 weeks to my 8 weeks lol. The wait is agonizing.

Powertrain warranty can theoretically be at risk (ferrari’s call depending on potential issue) and you need the tectronic obd plugin to avoid CEL. Hopefully this doesnt turn into another warranty police epa lawsuit thread

That valveless X pipe exhaust is incredible in my Pista, but I don't have the GPF concern.
