Happy with the stock exhaust but it does look a bit "plain". Has anyone done anything to dress up the tips. Looking for ideas because I'm worried some options may not look tasteful. Also I have a bit of the originality gene in me so maybe plain is fine. My wife's is an 88 3.2. Just wondering if someone else has already traveled this path. Perhaps I should have also asked if people are running non-stock exhausts with success.

I believe they are stainless steel so maybe a polish and a scuff will give them the cool brushed stainless look. Aggressive, purposeful, anti bling and very cheap.

I have not done this or thought about doing this until now but I have cleaned the pipes before when they got grungy.

    1. Mild. Typically, to make it more aggressive, you could have a welder at any muffler shop give them a bit of an angle pointing, say 15 degrees up. $100

    2. Very nice. You can get two Ansa(best choice) or Monza(not bad) dual 3" exhaust tips and have themwelded on at about a 20 degree angle. Will also take the raspiness out of the exhaust note and make it smoother.

    3. Radical. You can put on a dual resonant cancelling Magnaflow set up with dual Ansa resonated tips coming out wider than stock, at about a 30 degree angle, with a custom made simplified valence to give it a 70's look and sound:

The second YouTube vide: On a side note, isn't the oil pressure on the low side for the revs he's hitting? Water temp and oil temp look good (fuel gauge is a fluctuating) but that oil pressure seems to be on the low side.
