I would be interested if anyone is/has manufactured stainless steel/chrome tips- only- for the 430? I am not enamored with the stock tips. Do not want to try to polish the stock ones as has been suggested in a previous thread, nor put in an after market complete exhaust.
    TIA.

Yes I have to say the standard ones don't look all that impressive.....but the rest of the car more than makes up for it. :)

Heres a closeup I took of one on the weekend....

Martin can you post the results of your investigation of the Novitec 430 stainless steel exhaust outlets? I am curious as to what is involved regarding installation and price.

    Thanks

You can also get stainless steel exhaust tips for the F430 from Hamann. If you want, I can look up the prices.

Looks like it's a relatively easy/simple install -- tips and tubes with vacuum flaps that bolt right up to the stock muffler box. The cost will, however, be a staggering $3k or thereabouts.

    Rossi,
Would appreciate that info-also a link to the Hamaan website.
    No reply from Novitec yet,
Jack- 3K sounds crazy just for the tips???????

    Doc,

Pricing is crazy, but it's more than just the end tips. Looking at the photo below, the replacement parts include the end tips which are permanently attached to the exhaust pipes/tubes including the vacuum actuators -- they bolt up to the muffler. In other words, it's Novitec's exhaust system sans the muffler can.

Got your email, give me until tommorow before I start calling around and see what I can do for you. If nobody makes some at a reasonable cost, I'll see if I can get some made, since I think they would sell at a reasonable price.

    Regards,
    Kevin

I doubt very much you will want to change to an after market exhaust after you have driven your 430.:D

The Tubi Tips bolt straight onto the std 430 muffler box, comes with or without Valves..

Scuderia Systems in the UK have these pipes :)

    I looked up the prices:
Hamann stainless steel exhaust tailpipes, 80 mm, without exhaust flap control 775 Euro.
Same as above but with exhaust flap control for assembly to the original rear muffler, 795 Euro.

I have a colleague in the Northeast who has just complete development of F430 tips that do not require replacement of the muffler box or main exhaust pipes. Drop me a PM if you're interested.

    Best Regards,

I like the stock tips, they have a nice detail on the inside. What do the actuators do? Do they bypass the muffler?

  24. Jack any more pictures of your garage, I love the looks just from that little picture. I would love to see more... :)
