Hello everyone. I have been reading posts for the last 2 days and cannot find where exactly the exhaust valves are? Does the rear diffuser have to be taken off to access them? I have 2006 f430 f1. Thanks so much!

No, just the grit guards in the back of each rear wheel well.

Search for past threads on this....but I recall that I removed mine without removing any covers...just reaching in the engine compartment.
On a Scuderia the two small grills on the rear bumper must be removed.

Nothing has to be removed in a regular 430 to access the exhaust valves (I'm presuming you're referring to these). The lower diffuser and rear bumper are removed in my photos because I'm installing a carbon fiber rear challenge grill, but to access or plug your exhaust valves, you can just reach in from the top.

Just remember to plug the openings (mainly the hose side but my valves are also capped to keep dust out) and strap the hose.

bringing back an old thread here but do you remember what you used to plug and cap the valve/line? Can’t find the amazon link I found a while ago on this.
