Replacing OEM exhaust valve with a Capristo. Capristo hose fitting is on top where as OEM is on the side. My OEM hose is too short. Is there a reason it had a silicone hose? I replaced it with a thick rubber vacuum hose. Heat rating is 275 degrees F. Should I order a silicone hose or will this be fine? Thanks

Should be fine. The capristo bypass comes with a longer hose due to the new mounting position. It is silicone.

Mine came from Eurospares but they did not send a hose. Have you installed a Tubi exhaust on a 355?

Did you get a Capristo bypass solenoid valve with your Capristo bypass valve?

The hose on my car originally ran within 1" of the RH cat. Seemed ok, but I bought a new one from Ricambi and had it re-routed anyway when the bypass valve was replaced. I think it was a standard rubber type.
