Bruce, I accept that you alter the truth to try to mess with peoples' minds and to vent your sick anger. Why does a person with the advantages you were born with have such anger? When are you going to accept yourself to include your sick side which is probably hidden from many people?
Dave Maybe Bruce will stop bothering you if you actually die. But then he would have to find someone else to carp at. Good luck getting your car up and going, and the sooner the better. As far as exhaust, if what you have now is working, just run it until some later point. No use slowing down the work to get the car out of the shop. Hey man, heres my 2 cents. I recently went to see and play with a 91 mod t coupe. It had the stock exhaust. It was quiet, the car idled well, but it was a calm sound. Not sure why someone else is telling you that it sounds better with an original. I also had the pleasure of driving with the top dwn a 94 348, once again orginal exhaust. Once again it was a soft sounding car. Even at 5-6,ooo rpm, top down it was not a buzz in the back ear I was expecting. My TR has a borla on it and sounds much better than both of these cars did. In short what I am trying to say is, either slap a tubi, or Capristo exhaust on this car and blast away. It would no doubt sound better than the original. PS. My neighbor has a 348 spider with tubi, and sounds ever bit of a race car at high revs. Ask Tbowsky on this board and Im sure he will concur with these findings. Good luck. Rick.

In the past I have owned two Ford vans with custom 4x4 conversions. One had a 460 with glass packs and agressive 4x4 tires. I found the noise of the glass packs to be tiring on trips. The tires were also part of this. Would the nice sounds of something like a Tubi be tiring on trips? Again, I have no complaints with Algars. I think they are a great dealer and I like them.
Actually my gear box and motor are at Algar, the rest of the car is at the body shop getting stripped, de-rusted, and painted. Gear box needed a rebuild. 2nd was getting pretty crunchy, so the synchros and hubs, along with some bearings, are getting replaced. The charging system on the motor was sub standard, so we're upgrading that with a 105 amp Alfa Romeo alternator. Cooling needed a tweak, so the radiator went out for an ultrasonic flushing. Dave

Sounds fair but then you can't hold it against people if they form the wrong opinion about you. I think it is very fishy why you would have your car there for repairs for months without telling them what to do with it. Are you just using them for storage?

These are two entirely different things. Coming from the extreme poor side of the tracks, I knew nothing about Ferraris. There have been many nice people on this chat who have been kind enough to share their knowledge. I wanted to share with these people. It was a mistake. No problems, I will never again make a public post. I will always own Ferraris, and will communicate with certain people on this board in private.
