    Ciao Guys!!!!

Before I start, I promise this is not the 237475839th post about exhaust... or better... about comparison between better sounds or brands.

I'd love make a little helpful walkthrough, according to your veteran experience, for people whose dilemma is "am I going to do that" ?

I know it might be just a matter of taste.... but there might be some objective considerations to do.

So, first of all, what's good and bad points about installing exhausts?

You get an incredible rumble... you loose the original one... so in a way, you took away an original ferrari piece to get some more noise.

Then it depends on the car... maybe on a 456 or a 612 that sound might not be that... elegant.

I am really fighting against myself... I have an elegant blu 360 spider, the sound is the original (it's a bit more opened). Of course... when a ferrari is on the road, it must be heard!!! I am terrified about loosing the dynamics of the rumble...

A friend with a 360 has tubi... when he starts it the car roars so greatly.... and when he accelerates the rumble gets higher.... but it's less dynamic than the original.... it's always very very noisy.

don't know I am a bit confused about it... maybe a bit too much to decide, and think I am not the only one.

Any help coming from your experiences?!

i think US 360s sound different than euro 360s. i'm almost certain that all US 360s (including stradales) have catalytic converters (pre-cats) built into the headers. both US and euro 360s have catalytic converters, but US cars have additional cats (pre-cats) inside the headers. this impacts the sound of the car. i don't think i've ever heard a euro 360 (i bet it sounds great), but i've heard the euro stradale and it definitely sounds fantastic! i'd say they are twice as loud (in a good way) as a US stradale.

i agree with you in that i really like the sound of the original exhaust. tubis and capristos sound great, but "different" than the original exhaust note. i'm considering replacing my stock cats with high flow cats but leave the stock exhaust. but i want to hear what that particular combination sounds like before i make a decision.

Anything else is garbage. We just did test pipes and their sport system on a 360......OMFG !!!!

In almost 20 years of selling high end cars...........I have never heard a sound like that.

Ferrari Spa should make this stuff OEM.

Hi Giorgio, my US spec 360 came with stock exhaust. The sound was very disappointing! It was low and hollow, more like a cheap 4 cylinder. It was not what I expected at all.

Then I installed a Tubi exhaust. Now it starts with a bark and idles much more aggressively. It screams under acceleration. Now that's how a Ferrari should sound!

Check out how much Exhaust I will be removing from my Benz. Talk about overkill. Two cats, one Resonator, and one muffler. The resinator is coming out first its the size of a Turkey.

Oh come on tell the truth, you come from a family of midget guitar playing elves and one day you got mad and slammed your guitar down in the trunk and it left that.

Had a 355 with a Tubi (I had it put on). People in FCA used to follow me on outings just to hear the exhaust. The 360 has a Tubi. Love it.

A Ferrari without a Tubi is like a day without sunshine IMHO. ;)

My 360 with Tubi sounds like that. It was really boring before the Tubi.
