Ok, my mechanic was about to close the motor up when he was putting the last valve into the head. He noticed a keeper missing for an exhuast valve (im not sure if they are different for the intake or exhuast, but I know the exhuast is the one that is not in the head yet). Anyone got one of these laying around for a 1978 2-valved 308? I can paypal you the cost, but can get it in the mail ASAP if anyone has one. Thanks in advance.

Bump, sorry. It was about to move off the page and I am in dire need of one of these. Thanks for the understanding.

Get hold of either T Rutlands or Dennis McCann, they are both on the web. I bet they have bags of them and shipping will be more than the part.

T Rutlands is closed until Monay, call them then. They have always been very helpful to me and I'm sure they will help you in a timely manner.

Yeah, they did a great job on prices when I needed piston rings. The sent them really fast too. The problem was they continued to bill me for them for 6 months after I paid for them via paypal when I agreed to purchase the item. I went through numerous e-mails and telephone calls before I quit getting letters in the mail. They apologized and didn't seem to know why the system wouldn't stop spitting out my name. I am not mad about it, because they corrected the problem. I just worried they didn't want to deal with me.
