I am planning a holiday in Europe later this year and wanted to drive rather than fly around. Looking to take in France, Germany and Italy particularly.
Details of the trip are sketchy at the moment, other than visiting Ferrari, Ducati and the Amalfi Coast. Does anyone have experience and suggestions for an Exotic/Prestige rental company. Ideally we would like to pick up the car in Paris and drop it off for our flight home in Italy.
The next step is to work out where some of the great European driving roads are.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hmmm...if I'm not mistaken the large rental companies (e.g. Hertz, Avis, etc.) sometimes rent out 360's, etc. I'm sure the ones at De Gaulle (I'm assuming that's where you're flying into) would have that. All rental companies in Europe have prestige cars to rent such as the new 5 series, and E class, etc. You should be able to look online at their web sites. Hope this helps...Be sure to hit Monte Carlo, I was there over Christmas, and saw several Enzo's, an SLR, etc...

Tried google and came up with a few, but there don't seem to be any International type rental organisations, rather just prestige rental brokers who work with all the local specialists as booking agents. The problem with this is you can't collect the car from De Gaulle and return it in Rome for example.

    Take a look at http://www.eliterent.com/
They are part of a network, so they may offer the services you seek. Serious reputation around here, but obviously never used them.
If your trip starts in France, I'd suggest to take a plane or high speed train to Germany or Switzerland, pick up your car, cross the alps north & south as many times as you like, then speed down through Italy.
French highways have become a total bore due to very strict enforcement of speed limit laws (may still seem easy-going compared to what i've read about Australia), while Italy remains fairly adequate for high speed touring as long as you stay away from the busiest stretches.
