DrTax- I got to thinking that some of that same "boxy" look in the Gallardo is in the Enzo and Porsche GT.

So when I made my photo, I tried to keep my grouping along that track.

The new Lambo and the Enzo are both "new school"
    - boxy
    - short and stuby
    - strange angles
    - odd or complex at first sight

So I treid to put this "New Look" into words... I came up with 4 trends in this new look-

The Enzo has 3 of the 4 (hump back, set-in doors, narrow bubble canopy)

They all have a bit of this new look in some way.

To build that new Lambo... someone had to say "it needs a boxy butt"
( I think they did it to make the car a bit smaller yet add room in engine bay)

People tend to say- "Agreed. I would say the color it looks "least worst" in is black. It helps hide the goofy angular ricer lines of the car."

I was one of those people. I think the Enzo and Gallardo both look best in Black!

But now when I look at the 4 photos above. Its not so out of line with the new style. They all are a bit goofy. IT's WHAT's HIP!

I'm so glad big wings are a thing of the past! I really like the long nose sticking out on the enzo, I know it's F1 inspired, but it really original on a road car (yes I know about the Pagani Zonda).
The only problem I have with it is it's edges are too square, they need to be smooth like a lambo murci. I fear the enzo will date quckly once it's replaced.
That's why I think the Enzo looks so good in black, you get all the aggresion, but don't notice the boxy edges.

At best, I dig the narrow canopy designs from a pure asthetic perspective. I like the race-car like look and function to reduce CD.

However from a useability perspective, they're stupid.

I like it on the Zonda. I like the whole Zonda. I want one...

    Bad...

    Best!
    Ben.
