    Hey all F-Chat users, I was wondering who here it knowledgeable with some rental places in Toronto or the GTA that could provide me with a sports/exotic car for rental for my grad night in june. Any car would do that won't break the bank. However, several issues come up, my age, 18, and the location of my grad. It's in Hamilton and I live in Oakville, so distance might be a problem. This is the first time I'll ever be driving anything more than a Chrysler Intrepid or a minivan :(. So bottom line, any ideas? comments? suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

    I was researching some exotic car rental options for work and remembered seeing something about prom rentals on GTA Exotics site. Here is some of what it said...

    GTA offers our exotic car line up to responsible students with written parental consent. It is highly recommended to book as soon as you know your date to ensure availability. Daily rental rates do NOT apply as the rental is from approx 4pm till the prom ends at approx 12:30am. The vehicle is driven directly back to GTA. To ensure the safety of the renter and passenger a GTA employee follows the rental vehicle inconspicuously or with another exotic car to ensure the vehicle is driven safely. There is zero tolerance for careless or aggressive driving and GTA reserves the right to terminate a rental immediately following a breach of conditions and the deposit may be non-refundable. This is a fun, safe evening with no alcohol consumption. Truly a night you will never forget. Discounts when two or more cars rented. Hummers and Escalades monitored real time by Global Positioning Systems to ensure proper driving.

    Has anyone dealt with GTA Exotics before? Or any other company that has grad rentals? Thanks for the replies btw.

    I've rented a Ferrari 360 Spider at ASG exotics www.asgexoticcars.com
    Very straight up guys to deal with and had no problems with the transaction. Oh and to drive the car was thrilling.

    I also have just rented a Lamborghini Diablo from GTA exotics www.gtaexotics.ca
    and again, the transaction went very smooth, and Stu is a great guy. Highly recommend both places. Oh and as far as driving the Lambo, I practically had a h--d on up to my chin I was so excited and so thrilled to drive that car.

    Both companies have many other cars to choose from at more resonable prices if that's what you're looking for. Go to both sites, and give the guys a call. I'm sure they can accomidate you.

    this from the asg site under the faq section:

    How old do I have to be to rent a vehicle?
    All renters must be a minimum of 25 years of age, at least 21 years old (extra fees apply)

    what's that supposed to mean? 21 or 25?

    Trying to find a place to rent a luxo sedan (think S class, 7 Series, A8) for a wedding. This is the ride for the inlaws....
