I plan to go, but not sure if we have to pre-register or not. Do we just show up? Who has the low down on this event?
If it is anything like last year, go Rick. You'll have fun. Main player last year was one of the most kind and inviting people I ever talked to on the phone and brought a slew of fun cars ( Enzo, CGT, Maybach. ) Best shows are the ones where people do not hesitate to support each other and this one was one of them. Can't remember a time I saw so many 360s. Grey Poupon laden Rolls was a crowd favorite as well. Luv1abulls, nice Italian food, FCA, LFSC, Continental figures mixing it up with anyone, just a fun event... just make sure you throw some bids down at the silent auction. The cars are a secondary role compared to helping out the kids is my guess! RocketBoy
Well, I am planning on going and YES the Kids are first. So everyone needs to participate in the auctions. Hey we missed you on the LSD run hopefully we will see you on Sat.
I like the idea that they are using the cars to help out kids. I have told Frank that we should try to do our own thing to raise money for those in need. I'm going to try clear out my schedule and go to this thing and make my donation. I guess I will tag along with Rick.. Thanks! Vince
Hey Guys....thanks for the comments about this years show. In addition we will be donating some of the proceeds to the disaster relief fund as well as doing a food drive at the event. We are a children's foundation but are always helping those in need. Check out last years photos through out website. www.specialkidsnetwork.org and click on photos, then 1st Annual Exotic Car Show. See you all there. -Trevor Brody
This all sounds cool, but I still have my initial question. Do we have to register or can we just show up? So who else besides Vince and myslef are planning to attend? I think Carla stated she was, so that's three.
There is a initial application to apply...however this is for us to create a window sign and for us to know initially who is coming. Please visit www.specialkidsnetwork.org and click on Exotic Car Show. From there click on application and you can print it and fax it to our attention. Please call if there are any further questions. 847.444.9444. -Trevor P.S. For those who are Michigan or ND fans, we are working on a deal to bring a Big Screen TV and leather couches to watch the game. In addition we may be able to show some racing as well.
