I own a 2002 360 spider that I agreed to have ECCP sell on a consignment agreement. After I looked at the concept and spoke to the management I thought it would be a good avenue to sell my car. 7,000 people per day visit the showroom. What a mistake I made. I shipped the car to their showroom early September so ECCP could sell it. Early October came around and ECCP called me up and told me that they were going to purchase the car for themselves. They told me they were in the process of getting financing and would wire the funds by the 15th of October. With ECCP buying the car for themselves all efforts to sell the car on consignment was put on hold. Please keep in mind no money changed hands, just a verbel commitiment. All along I was told the money was coming. Well to my surprise I found out that they took my car and were charging people $20.00 to have their picture taken in a Ferrari without any authorization from me. I was livid. Their defense was I told you that I was buying the car, so I thought the car was ours to do what we wanted to do with it. Here I trusted Exotic Cars to sell my Ferrari on consignment which states nobody will drive the car, and they were profiting off my car, not thinking about all the ware and tare of having people of all shapes and sizes sitting in my Ferrari.

Long story short, the car is back home in my garage, but the whole thing was a nightmare.Everything they told me they didn't do. Don't trust these guys if they approach you to sell you car on consignment. The showroom is very nice, but the business is ALL FLASH AND NO CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been there several times and I don't know anyone there so take its for what its worth, but just going through it several times and observing its not a typical dealer. It reminds me of the Auto Toy Store in Lauderdale. Tons of cars, tons of dealers walking around in circles or searching on the internet for hours on end, but no business is going on. Maybe they are selling cars now, but for months how the heck were they paying the rent without selling cars? They had tons of inventory, like 10 dealers on staff and paying outrageous rent in that mall. That mall has some of the highest per square foot rates in the USA if not the highest and the size of that place is probably 15-20,000 square feet. How the heck were they paying the bills for those 4 months plus without selling cars before finally getting their license???? Many of the cars I saw when that joint opened months ago are still there.

Yes my car was red with colio interior. The dash and steering wheel are the same color. What I understand is the front of the store selling T-shirts and other Ferrari products is what is keeping the doors open as well as charging $20.00 a pop to have somebody have a picture taken in my Ferrari.

I did see your car in the photo area back in Oct. One good thing is you could not just walk up to it because it was behind a fenced off spot.

I actually just returned from there, and was not impressed at all, being a exotic dealer myself I thought the whole atmosphere was cheesy, cheap posters for sale and of course "have your picture taken in a ferrari" with a vegas backdrop, salespeople with their feet on their desks!!..i believe the place is intended to cater to white trash that hit the big jackpot...I personally would not have ONE of our 23 ferraris there at all...good idea to take it out of there before some damage was done.

Thanks, I just wished I wouldn't of shipped it there in the first place. One good thing happened, though now I realize how much I missed that car. I know never is a long time off, but I don't think I will ever part with this car, unless the 430's get realistic.

Sounds like you have a claim for an appearance fee at the very least.

There was a show on Travel Channel last night about hotels, mostly The Wynn. However, it did show Ceasar's and the booth to get the pictures taken with your car. Their words were, "phase one, see all of the cars, phase two, get your picture taken in a Ferrari, phase three, drive a five mile loop in Vegas in a Ferrari." Better make sure they weren't using your car for joyrides, too.
