Exotic convoy to Monterey for the Concorso Italiano! 8/17/06

Great idea. I have to see what my schedule is that Thursday.

I may have to leave a bit later than the time you have indicatted, however.

Which car are you taking?

 

No Ferrari yet, but I do speak Italiano, does that count?

I hope you guys still talk to me when we are at the concorso... ;-)

Sounds like fun! If we can get to Carmel by noon we can view many of the nice cars participating in the Concours on Sunday. See below.


Concours weekend kicks off with the Ninth annual Tour d'Elegance, Thursday, August 17, 2006 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Cars competing in Sunday's event are invited to participate in the 60-mile tour:

8:30 a.m.
Departure. Cars begin their journey through the Monterey Peninsula.

11:30-12:00 noon
Arrive for lunch at Devendorf Park in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. Cars are parked along Ocean Avenue for public viewing.

1:30 p.m.
Drivers return to their cars.

2:00 p.m.
Departure. Cars return to Portola Road in Pebble Beach.

we are going on the 17th also, but i'm not sure what time we can get out of town....so at this time i'm a maybe for the group ride....i'm going to try to be there...(fred+1)black tastarossa

 

I'll be going down the morning of the 17th to be in Carmel before lunch. I'll be in either my 365 2+2 or Daytona. It's probably just as well you guys are leaving later - I'm not sure I could keep up!

I can't leave at 9:00.

But aside from departure times, did we ever resolve the car wash issue for that area?

Ray Johns had suggestions, but I can't remember if we received any final answers.

Bob Willis should have a wash truck there at the gate!
