Are they real are they? Like......can you sit in them and drive them as the 2 pics suggest? If so, where can I get one?
Who cares if it's a repost? Are these real and if they are does anyone have more information I want several of them. Oh my gosh these would make a fantastic advertising vehicle. I just love that Porsche 911.
I think most of them are fake, if not all of them. the main reason is the carrera gt. thats walter rohl in the drivers seat. If he had driven the thing I have a feeling it would be all over every single european magazine. I think they are so cool though if someone would make one!
Does anyone here remember "Penny Racers", the little pull-back toy cars that if you put a penny in the back they pop a wheelie? That's what these remind me of.
I was in Paris and those things are all over the place. I had to keep looking at them and saying to myself "Americans won't buy them, they are too small". until the big SUV's get off the road here they will be a tough sell in most parts of the country.
Fortunately, I live in one of the *few* parts of the country where they just may catch on, and that's cool with me, because I'd love to have one! Just for fun, really...like a vintage Mini Cooper, only modern.
Excellent photoshoping! But definitley not real. Anyone that believes these are real needs to talk to me about some beachfront property I have in Arizona.
My fiancee and I have every intention of buying a Smart. We tried to buy one in Canada last year and they would not sell us one. We looked into a couple of "tricks" to get one into the States and legally titled/registered, but gave up for now. When we can buy a 1st gen Smart to drive in the States for a fair price, it won't be long before we do. I heard there is a company in California that federalizes European Smart cars, but I also heard they charge $30k. We'll wait for now, until we can obtain one for more realistic money (as in under $20k). I have read about Smart being terribly mismanaged. I think they really missed the boat in the U.S. Had they been ready, they could have been "first to market" and established themselves here a year or so ago when our gas prices really shot up. Meanwhile, Toyota and Chevy (and Honda?) are coming in and taking away potential customers with little but not as tiny (or safe) efficient cars. The next mistake M-B will make with Smart is that they will be bringing the 2nd-generation car to the States instead of the first. The "for two" is the best seller (the others are all being dropped) because it is cute. Some Americans will want a Smart as much because it is cute as because it is efficient. The new one, IMO, is not as cute. And Americans who have heard of and seen Smart cars up until now all know the 1st gen. The one we get here won't be the one people have been wanting for several years now.
Smarts are fantastic, especialy if you play with the engine a bit This ones currently for sale with Paul Baber (vintage Ferrari specialist) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The smart is a pleasure to drive in the city. Amazing to park, fastest in and out of a petrol station(20L tank). A great fun car.
