Exoticar Sale

Don't even bother ordering from them. Almost all of their models in the feature ads are not even out yet. And ones that are out they usually don't have in stock still. Be warned, try and avoid ordering from them, many people have had problems with exoticar.

 

Yea, there have been threads before about them doing that, still...they have lots of stuff.

Sometimes they put pics in before that actual product arrives.

I've dealt with them many times and at least, was never cheated on anything.....

Once though, they had like six kinds of Lambo caps, and when I needed one for a party they were Out Of Stock on ALL SIX! LOL!

I ordered all of my 1:18 ferraris from exoticar but latley when I ordered my f430 coupe and silver f430 spider they were on backorder to.

I also know him and he is a great guy, I meet him in New York several times and then when I went to the warehouse in Mass. he let me tour around the area and look at all the models that they had in the back, He is very nice.

 

I ordered all the Elite models from Exoticar about three weeks ago. I then got their backorder email saying it would take 4 to 6 weeks before the cars would be in stock. This was just a generic email and it offered me the opportunity to change or cancel the order. I have requested them three times by email to cancel it and have not heard ANYTHING from them. I will NOT be ordering from Exoticar again. I have had a great experience with EWA. Althoug they aren't the cheapest, they are always courteous on the phone, ship fast and package very well.

 

i agree that exoticar is frequently out of stock or on back order. i stopped ordering from there. EWA has a large selection, but it took them forever to ship models. replicarz is good and so is sportcraftcars. i have recently used toys for collectors, they are slightly cheaper on minichamps 1/43 products. but mostly i troll ebay for models.

I have had great experiences with Sportcraftcars as well. I just cancelled my $500 Hotwheels Elite order with Exoticar. I will keep Replicarz in mind per your suggestion.

 

I have bought through Exoticar in the past and as I'm in the UK anything from the US takes a while so they seemed ok. I went to New York a year ago a visited the Exticar shop there which was excellent - didn't buy anything as I didn't have much room in my suitcase!

 

I despise Exoticar.

 

make sure what is being ordered is IN STOCK and the color of your choice is also AVAILABLE-I have dealt with them in the past (to be honest,i've had mixed results)-overall I think they are a company that offers a catalog full of pictures,yet sometimes(for some odd reason) they like to "preview" their models (that may or may not be in their warehouses)

 

I am not too impressed with the quality of Exoticar's shipping either. They just toss the models in some banged-up box; no protective wrapping, etc.

 

I had cancelled all of my backorders with Exoticar by email and even followed up with a phone call and they still continue to ship to me. Now I am stuck with all kinds of duplicate Ferrari models. I should have reviewed the feedback Exoticar received at Amazon.com before I placed my orders with them:
