Anyone have an opinion about this place? I have been talking with Fuzzy about a car. He has seemed easy to deal with.

    Thanks

I never bought a car from Fuzzy when I lived in Pittsburgh (he was running Auto Palace at the time) but he was a wealth of information, never hesitated to let me test drive a car I was interested in, and when I finally located my 91 348ts his service team did the clutch, 30K service and stored it for me while I was moving to New York. Never gave me grief for buying my car from someone else. Tell him Rick says hi.

I purchased a 90 348 from Fuzzy. He was pretty easy to deal with. My only gripe was that he promised me a tool kit to go with the car but I never actually received it. Oh well. I have seen him several times at Summit Point for FoW track events. Nice guy....just make sure you get your promises taken care of before leaving the dealership

I can tell you he was terrible about returning phone calls. I was interested in a 360 he had and after three weeks he returned my call. However, in the meantime he sold the car. Algar, on the otherhand was very good about returning my call and I bought my 360 from them as a result. Caveat emptor. Cheers.

If they are able to stay in business around here he must be doing something correctly. There just isn't much a market for exotic cars here due in a large part to the horid roads, aging population and ever present blue collar mentality.

Outside of those things Pittsburgh is a nifty place to live and I really like it.

Note: Everyone around here is terrible at returning phone calls. I am nota native here but it seems to be a very common habit. I don't understand it myself.

It's not just you're neck of the woods. I've found that people in the two places that I've lived most recently - Tennessee and Cincinnati - have the same mentality. It's just bad manners.

Except for the market created by the professional athletes that comprise the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. And the large number of entrepreneurs that have kept Pittsburgh thriving after the collapse of the steel industry.

Fuzzy is great to deal with. I bought an Alfa Spider new from him ten years ago. I would still fully inspect any vehicle, just as I would from any other source.

Hey, likeyoudon'tknow, was that at Exoticars or the Auto Palace?

It's pretty much an open secret at this point that the Penguins are moving. Nothing is official but everyone who reads any resumes at all has seen at least one from a current penguins employee.

CMU has been good with the spin offs, even after the tech bubble burst.

I have had no problems contacting Fuzzy. After talking with several previous owners of the car he is selling me, his description of the car is spot on. I have yet to see it but I really hope it is as described. I will probably also get a PPI just to be safe.

Matt, the car is a Verde Scuro 330 GT 2+2. It is a completely unmolested original car except new paint- just what I want (I hope)
