sweet... But if you can make it out to Exoticorso that would be awesome, then I can teach you how to drive -a
hahaha I will probably be instructing at this event as well, not 100% sure yet, but if not, I still have some time to show a few things I got your digits, so I will give you a ring when I touchdown... -a
Yea, we have all done limited runs in small groups and it works out great. We all have a lot of fun and make new friends. I understand these things take time to put together and time is money, but I left the Rampage feeling like I helped someone pay for their Fcar. I'm not really interested in that sort of "value" again. Getting together with friends and going for a run to anywhere I am up for anytime!
JC, have Byron and JL set it up or something! If we can get 40 cars, its a party! How about Tahoe? Be different and gorgeous! Stay in Reno? MM
Right on Jeff, my whole reason for going to Vegas was to drive my car on road runs similar to Pachanga and hang with my fellow F-car owners. Your idea about "Rio Magic" is perfect, you set it up and I'm there. Regarding Exoticorso - I just don't see the value for the money. I can get fine dinning in So. Cal. for a lot less money and my guess a much better meal. I told my co-pilot the cost of admission and he politely bailed on me. I'll see you at the Rio
That's getting coser to my budget ... throw in DerWeinerschnitzel, Domino's and a buffet for dinner ... should be able to get that cost down to under $500 The road from Boulder City to Echo Bay .... AWESOME !!! G
If you guys want to go to Vegas now is the perfect time with the weather, its cool but not cold, the cars like it! The Lake Mead Park drive is a blast, I do it all the time, you can also go through the Valley of Fire park as well. Another awesome ride to take which I took this weekend is through Death Valley National park, you go though Cali, I went as far as Beatty Nv and turned back in my 930, a nice ride. This is the time of year for that ride as well concerning the weather. SpeedVentures has an open track event at Spring Mountain the weekend of April 22 and 23rd as well. That could be a possibility if some want to track their cars . http://www.speedventures.com/
Thanks Jeffrey. It might be a good idea to start a new thread when you get more definitive information, this one is getting fragmented.
Mark... Thanks for the shout-out... Tahoe sounds like fun... but this time of year is snowboard/ski season! I think there may be too many vegas events in mar/april already... one more to the mix may just be sensory overload! Too much gambling!! We are planning out our 2006 calendar right now... feel free to email with more ideas!! Byron
