I probably didn't get all cars since I was just hanging with my friend and took pictures of him and his friend's Exige; however, I did get some really nice shots of other cars. I was also experimenting with slow shutter speeds to get the motion blur in the background and the wheel spoke blur. Anyone could shoot at 1/1000th of a second to get sharp examples, but I feel that the results looks like the car is just parked stationary.

I went through 600+ pictures and only posted the sharpest examples so all pictures at full size will be like this one:

Contact me if you're interested in the full res version.

    Thanks,
    Chester

The one picture I wish someone had gotten (understandable that they didn't) was old time Vegas entertainers Steve Lawrence, Eydie Gorme, and Jerry Vail enjoying dinner at Piero's the evening we were there. Steve and Eydie were the first performers I saw (at the old Sands) when I came here in 1966.

Thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately, I was not the official photographer and was only at the track shooting the breeze with my friend. I would have gladly exchanged pictures for a ride :) At any rate, it seems that the picture groupings weren't obvious where if you clicked on the Ferrari, you got more Ferrari pictures. So I ungrouped everything. Have a look:

While I appreciate the effort in posting them, the excessive watermarking of all the pictures made them virtually impossible to view and derive any satisfaction from.

It's important to protect one's proprietary information and creative effort, but I'd say the watermarking on those casual shots borders on silly.

Anyway, to each their own. Thanks.

I have the pictures for my enjoyment and though I would love to share, I would also like to offset the cost of my equipment and time. It takes time to sift through all of the pictures and pick out the best examples. I wish we lived in a world where I could post all the high res pictures and if someone grabbed it to use as a wallpaper or had prints made, that he/she would make a donation because it was the right thing to do.

Debates are abundant on the photography boards where people ask if they should charge. The general consensus is to charge this way people don't take the photographer for granted and the photographer gets a little pocket change to continue taking pictures. Both sides are happy. I would think that $20 would be an extremely fair price for a high quality print and if someone wants one, contact me. Otherwise, there are many high quality prints all over the web that you can get for free.
