I heard that it improves handling by 100%. Im going to hammer in speed holes into the bonnet of the 348 tomorrow also.

I also noticed in the F430 pic. I didnt think they made mini T-Bar auto's in them......

 

Thats the 360 with the "t-bar" - and its used to put the car in reverse AFAIK.

 

Sorry, yes, it is the 360 with the t-bar. How does the 430 get into resverse........anyone? Is it the button in the 430 pic where the t-bar was in the 360?

Started at 8:30 am leaving Brisbane through the Gap and heading out to Mt Nebo. Had some initial fun on the curves out there then came across this sign telling us there were road works ahead, then 60 kph, then 40 kph then a sign that said three lanes closing down to one which we thought was pretty interesting considering it was one lane each way. Came around the corner and there were about 20 police and traffic cones everywhere. My first thought was that they had been reading F-Chat

I don't know why we recieved such special attention but we were there 3 times longer than anyone else with me supplying address & contact details. I am expecting the car to be stolen any night now.

Cam and I thought it was pretty funny when the young officer who came up to us to do the breath test says "Would you mind turning it off sir, its a bit loud".

Thankfully the experience didn't deter us too much from enjoying ourselves for the rest of the trip

 

Well done with the pictures Cam, How did the ones at the end taken through the windscreen come out?

I also felt pretty stuffed last night but it was a truly excellent weekend and one we will have to do again sometime. I'm sure the boys will enjoy Alice next weekend but the run through the hills was pretty fantastic. I don't think we could have picked a route with more curves in it!

Apart from that we saw one in Kilcoy with a speed gun but I had already told Cam that they were a bit agressive around there.

A couple around Maleny but in town so no big deal.

A very pleasant trip otherwise... not that we exceeded the speed limit

 

Great drive that....especially the bit from woodford road to maleny you should also try the road from Maleny through Imbul etc all the way to Gympie....before they put the dam in!!!!!
