Can't see it either. Instead of getting a discount, you paid too much.

I dunno, I call it a good deal if you got them all in one spot!

"Time is money", and all that!

Then it's a waste of time...

Okay, that's a bit rude maybe, but like the others IMHO you need to get a much bigger discount when you buy ten of these models in one spot. I've bought the Exoto models for less than 150 euro each and I don't think the Hotwheels car is worth 150 euro either but could be wrong (there are so many limited editions I can't keep count).

all that doesn't solve the essential problem. Modelcars, esp. die-casts are overrated.
But I think, some day the hype will disappear.

The exotos are far more detailed than the hot Wheels. No question!

I've very rarely seen them on sale but have found them below $100US. ($79USD).....

    Not often!!!!

The problem with the 312B is that the windscreen is only correct for Ickx, the rear wing endplates are only correct for Spa and Monza, and the tires are only correct for 1970.

This limits the number of choices for which the model is entirely accurate. The Ickx at Spa version (which is actually 1970) is the only version they make which is fine out-of-the-box.

It is a good deal, if you say it is. That is all that matters. 10 good models! I have the King of the desert, and it is pretty nice.

I've got the Andretti 312B GP of South Africa car, and a Nigel Mansel 641/2 (no driver). They're definitely my favorites in my collection...

Looking over the list again. Getting those 10 models all shipped to my house individually would probably run over $1500 Euros (about 1900 USD), plus the time to find them all. I have never seen a store with nine different Exoto Ferraris available.

The King of the Desert is going for $50-80, plus shipping. Bunch of Exotos on Ebay at $239 each and some twin sets at $800-1000.

You averaged about $190 a model, take out the Mattel for about $75, you average about $200 for the rest.

Not too bad at all. Congrats son your new models. The Exotos are certainly some of the finest out there.

Besides, he's in Ireland! Not likely that it's the hotbed of Ferrari collectibles, like the Netherlands!

Do you know Fchatters steveirl and tomoshea?

Mule and I say "Well done!" LOL!

Well, ebay is accessible all around and Exoto's do go for a little less than 239 bucks.

Sure, if he thinks he got a good deal and is happy with it, than by all means. I'd like to have those, but no money.

Some places are still selling them at those prices. I got my Andretti 312B no more than a month ago from a diecast dealer for $169. He's selling all his remaining Exoto stuff @ MSRP, and when they're gone, he's done with 'em (Exoto, that is). He's got 312Bs (Andretti, Ickx, and maybe another), and a 312T, IIRC.
