I have the 0.9 bar cap which is what the book calls for for my year 84QV but many of you uses the 1.1 bar, is there any reasons for using the 1.1 bar?

By raising the pressure limit, the boiling point of the coolant is higher. The thinking here is that by raising the boiling point, the coolant will remain liquid to provide cooling if the temperature goes higher than "normal operating level."

It's a Technical Bulletin, to go to the higher value, it superceeds the older Manual.

If you are not loosing fluid it may not matter, here in the Tropics, it does.

I don't recall any Technical bulletin Tex, but Ferrari did supersede the part number from 101499 (0.9) bar to p/n 137644 which looks the same but is a 1.1 bar unit. The change was done around 1989/1990 on the 348's and Testarossa's IIRC.
