I use to have the 0.9 bar cap that works verry well, never had problem. But since the new replacement cap came out the 1.1 bar, I decided to order the new cap and replace the old 0.9 bar. But now, I notice on hot day in traffic when it gets to 195 deg. F I notice coolant comming out of the overflow tube, it's like a drop vevery second. Question is why is this doing now with the new cap and not with the old cap, do I have a defective new cap?
    Thanks.

Could be you have an airlock in the system somewhere or its slightly over filled.

Or the cap you bought is bad.......?

Yes, it's properly bled in fact, the old cap (0.9bar) I've been using doesn't give this problem, only when I changed the cap to the new one.
The coolant level is about half way if not a little below half of the expansion tank. and both fans are working. The good thing is, it's not overheating.

Take your new and old cap over to Pep Boys or your favorite auto parts supplier. They have a tool that checks the blow off pressure of your cap. I have this kit if you want to take a drive. The quality of the typical radiator cap is about as good as everything Wal Mart sells these days. I have had numerous "higher pressure" caps that release at .9 bar and less ... its part of the "new world order of manufacturing" ... widening up tolerances decreases rejection rate LOL. Try and buy a better cap from Summit or something if you keep having the problem. Like engine rebuilds, there is a difference between a $20 cap and $5 cap.

    cheers
