    I very much appreciate the help I've gotten here. Looking for ideas for how to fix a broken expansion tank mount. While trying to remove the 10mm nut for the lower mount point the vibration isolating mount rubber instead sheared off. I have circled the damaged mount in the attached picture. Any ideas how to fix it?

    The (broken) mount should unscrew from the frame (each metal end piece of the mount has a male threaded stud). Just buy a new mount (102947) and replace:

    (Although looks like someone applied the heat insulation coating when the mount was in place so you may need to cut the coating around the metal piece before turning the metal piece to unthread it. Oddly, on the other mount in your photo, the metal piece against the frame is not so "buried" in the coating.)
