How have your experiences been in buying a Ferrari from Bordwalk Auto Group? Did the car have any problems?

    Thanks!

(I couldn't find a thread on this topic already.)

not sure how the dealer would have anything to do with any long term problems that would arise long term. I didn't buy my car there, but they have helped me with some service issues (OBD2 plug recall, etc). Their service folks are quite good.

+1. Extremely helpful bunch of guys. Opened the car up for me once and they knew I wasn't a buyer.

Okay, I'm biased since they are a sponsor...but in terms of friendliness & service, they are great to established customers, potential customers and even the guys in the beat up sedans just wanting to 'look' at cars with their kids. If concerned about quality of cars, they are reputable, as they are an authorized dealer. From what I've heard, these kudos extend to their other dealerships (Infiniti, etc).

I am not a regular customer of Boardwalk Ferrari, but every time I have been there to buy a scale model or simply look, they have always been very friendly and gracious.

They wouldn't let me in the Spring show with my ZR-1 Corvette even when I calmly explained that it had a Lotus engine.

However, they took over half a day showing me the first Testarossa I had ever seen up close about 5 years ago. 512TR, but it was priced beyond my circumstances at the time. But that day I knew that I would have to have one in it's due time.

Rob Lay is a truly terrible lawyer. :(

Should I trust him again with my new Corvair Corsa Turbo this year, or will I have to shamefully park it on the edge of the grounds?

You already know the answer to this one. It may be a turbo air-cooled flat 6, but it was built in the wrong country.

Tillman, a Woods never gives up until he is thoroughly whooped down. Wonder if I went to the Boardwalk GM and promised to bring them my upcoming TR belt service?

Wonder if I could find some BMW 2000CS badges to put on it?

They did have kind of a passing resemblance -

Boardwalk has pulled back from the shows, that includes our Ferrari Show and the LoD MSR one. There is good news on both though, we just can't announce anything yet. Trust me, the new host will raise the roof on the event, it won't be rough on you or car. :)

So Jennie and I have one car purchased from previous owner FoD and then the GranSport from Boardwalk Maserati. I have nothing but good things to say about the sales & service experience. The sell was 10 times easier than what we've experienced with common dealers. For service they got us right in and did the work requested plus found a few things under warranty. Car came back detailed.

Aww. I loved spending the day at MSR watching LoD give everyone rides. :(
Look forward to what they may be planning.

I tried to buy a new TT from the Group's Audi dealership . . . suffice to say the money went to the dealer near Love Field. I received fantastic service, got the allocation in October, car was build per specs, did the European Delivery, received the car at the dealership in January and couldn't be happier.

The guys are great. Took me out in a Maser QP and let ME open it up. I was surprised by the experience there. When I am finally fortunate enough to purchase something other than the Honda, and newer than the Lancia, I plan on going back. You won't be disappointed.

I bought a '99 360 from them in December '06. Shortly after I got the car I had a check engine light that took quite a bit of effort to chase down and ultimatley required sending the ECU's back to FNA to get reflashed. While the car was a "no warranty" vehicle they took care of everything with no charge, never asking me for a cent. I was very impressed and the car has been absolutely trouble free ever since. As was mentioned earlier, the initial transaction was very easy and pleasant. I worked with Enver who I believe is now the sales manager.
