Just wondered if anyone can offer up their experiences of doing any of these themselves?

I want to wire in a radar RJ11 curled cord near the rear view mirror, add an iPod/iPhone lead (that also charges the phone) to the glove box area and maybe an iPhone mount point (430).

YouTube has some bits and pieces but if anyone's done these jobs on a 430 it'd be great to hear any tips.

    Many thanks.

Thanks again for the 'follow' and comments on my post.

Maybe it's easier if I try and explain what I want to achieve. You may be able to help me directly as you seem to be on the forums a lot:

    F430 Coupe
    Standard Becker 6112 system
    I want to:
    - Install a V1 radar mounted on the windscreen just below the rearview mirror. I want to install the RJ11 cord to a powered on/off point. Ive read on the forums that some have had power on/off from the headliner interior light unit and others havent. I dont want to turn the V1 on and off manually each time, only with the ignition switch.
    - Install an ipod lead to connect a Bovee 1000 bluetooth module. To stream music from my iphone. I wont be able to power the iphone to charge it doing this, but Ill live with that. It seems Ill attach a lead to the rear of the Becker unit, try and hide it through to the glove box and attach the Bovee adaptor there.
    - Find a solid but non damaging iphone holder to mount my iphone in. Ill use this for navigation and to run the radar V1 app off my iphone. In the 458 the most common method was to clip a mount onto the air vent, however that didnt hold at spirited driving speeds and could come off (quite dangerous).

I have searched a lot on this forum and on youtube and have found some of the info. I was hoping to get feedback/photos/vids from people doing these installs.

Apologies if I'm sounding like a broken record by asking a few questions.

    Cheers
