Hi, I am looking for a Ferrari Challenge. I will have to import to Spain.

I found several cars, 355 Challenge in Miami, 355 GT in Italy, 360 Challenge in Denmark and Germany... etc. If you know another option, please, let me know!.

About my question... racing cars has to pay taxes?
I think if I bring the car from USA I will have to pay taxes, but from Denmark or Germany I am not sure.

    Anybody can help me?

Thank you very much and best regards,

    Enrique.

With a car bought outside the EEG you will have to pay an Importtax of 10% and the VAT on the top of that.
There are in some countries some special rules for collector cars but not for an Ferrari 355.
If you buy a car in Switserland you need an EUR1 and then you only pay the VAT.
If you buy an car in the EEG you will not have to pay anything when it is a private car, and otherwise pay the VAT in the country where you buy the car, if you buy the car privately.

thanks for the info, i'm interested in this as well.
    but, just to clarify things...

am i right in assuming that you even have to pay taxes if you will only use this car as a trackday 'non street legal' tool?

    best
